Cowra Motorcycle Racing Club formed in 1997 (formerly called Cowra Longtrack Club) and is getting bigger and stronger each year.
Our race track is located in the Village of Woodstock (Purcell Drive, Woodstock NSW 2793) 20 kilometres east of Cowra and 75 kilometres west of Bathurst on the Mid Western Highway in NSW, Australia. To find the track take the turn off to Woodstock from the Mid Western highway and follow the signs.
The club conducts Dirt Track and Long Track, usually on the last Sunday of each month from February to October and Junior & Senior Speedway Meetings during the season.
The surface is watered crushed granite. Track sizes are as follows:
- Long Track – 800 metres
- Dirt Track – 850 metres
- Senior speedway Track – 310 metres
- Junior speedway Track – 110 metres
This circuit is regarded as one of the safest in the country and has large run off areas which minimises the possibility of a rider colliding with immovable objects.
There are outstanding facilities including a modern canteen and amenities block and a large pit and spectator area.
All Dirt Track club days gates open at 7.30 am with sign on and scrutineering for riders commencing at 8.00 am till 9-00 am.
